5/18/04-  Today is my birthday.  Whoopie.  It's basically a reminder that I'm a year closer to my death.  Blah! 

 

Sorry, I've had a real bad day today.  This has got to be the worst birthday of my life.  But at least I'm still alive and relatively healthy, have wonderful family and great friends.  And I've been dating like a madman!  It's all been fun and friendly, and that's safe.  No psychos so far.  That's always good.  So I really can't complain. 

 

I'll try my best to keep this site up-to-date.  Seeing how old and decrepit I am, I may forget, so no promises.

 

2/22/04-  It's been a long time since my last update.  Yeah, I know, I know.  Anyhow, here's a quick re-cap of what's gone down since:  Christmas was sorta ho-hum.  I did spend it with friends and family, however, so it could've been worse.  New Years wasn't exactly a blast, either.  And now it's February.  Where did the time go?!  Well, my car is on it's way out, I bought a mountain bike that I can never really ride, and my 3 jobs are taking up all my time.  And to top it all off, my grandma died. 

 

Hopefully I'll have some better news soon.  Sorry.

 

11/27/03-  Happy Turkey Day everyone!  Man, have I been slacking, or what?!  It's been almost 5 months since I last updated here.  Well, to make a long story short:  My company got $30 million in funding, I finished up both my bicycles and participated in a 15 mile ride, I have a part-time job at an airsoft shop down the street, and have started dating again!  Not too shabby, if I do say so myself.  This year has been tough but full of good times, and next year feels like it's going to be a good one for me, so I truly have something to be thankful for.

 

7/3/03-  Well, I've gone and bought another bicycle.  This time it's an old 10-speed-style roadbike from the 80's that I'm restoring.  So far it's almost done and looking pretty good.  Now I just need to get more in shape so I'll be irresistible to the ladies while I'm wearing bicycle shorts!

 

6/9/03-  Not much happening in my life right now.  Pretty boring, actually.  I fought a brush fire during a military simulation up in Bakersfield with my bare hands two weeks back, but that's de riguer in my opinion....

 

5/3/03-  It's a rainy weekend and I'm depressed.  What's a bacholer to do when he's down in the dumps, his wheels are still sidelined, and the weather could mess up his threads?  I know!  Call up some chicks!  And while I'm busy with the digits, check out the new game I've added.  It's called Astro Battle.  You build a ship out of the supplied components, then proceed to have it blown away by other human pilots in real time.  And it's free!  The programmer is a friend of mine, so give it a shot, spacecowboys and cowgirls! 

 

4/25/03-  The most random thing happened three days ago.  I found my good friend from highschool Tina on the internet.  And what has she been doing in the last 8 years?  Well, she has a family, is a teacher, and -get this- HAS BECOME AN ESKIMO!  Talk about something coming out of right field!  Don't believe me?  Check out their webpage at http://www.kigluaitadventures.com/.  It's cool.  Very cool.

4/22/03-  This weekend I made a killing at the thrift stores!  I found a working computer monitor for $2.50!!!  Can you believe it?  So now I can start making my computer server and become a totally network-savvy computerized bacholer. 

 

Or a computer geek.  Take your pick.

 

4/16/03-  Tax day has come & gone.  Did you get your taxes out?  I did.  And I'm none too pleased!  I'm so broke I can't even pay attention!  Ah well, such is life...

 

4/3/03-  A bike snob at work has been making fun of my bicycle since the day that I first rode it to work.  So on April's Fools day I made some "modifications" to his $700 Specialized Stump Jumper.  The pictures will appear in the Art section of my website very soon.  Until then take a look at my beautiful bike in the "Things That Go" section. 

 

3/30/03-  Well, the `ol GQ Crusier is in need of a new strut, literally!  My Audi babe magnet blew a shock last week, and I just don't have the cash to get it fixed right now.  So it's a really good thing I bought that bike!  Now when I cruise around La Jolla, all the honeys see me as the sexy, enivonmentally friendly hipster of the 21st century on his far-out bicycle of love!  The only problem is I'm too sweaty and out of breath to get anyone's phone number. 

 

Next week the car should be back in service.  But I will continue to ride.  I'm saving too much money and getting in great shape at the same time to stop!

3/23/03- OK, I've recovered a bit.  Now I'm back on the hunt!  Look out ladies, `cause here I come!  Now all I need is a snazzy, glitzy ad campaign to announce myself to the female population.  Then all I need to do is sit back and wait for the babes to start rolling in.

2/24/03- My girlfriend Tara dropped me like an elementery school music program on Saturday.  What a blow.  We dated for a little over 7 months.  She came into my life when I was at a very cynical low, then showed me that there was still good in the world.  Now she, too, has gone.  It's really settling into me now that I'm once again single.  Normally this would be cause to celebrate, but I really loved her.  Even though she live 450+ miles from me, I felt that she was close because of our love.  But that distance was one of the factors that did our relationship in, so she says. 

 

The life of a bachelor isn't always hip and swinging.  Sometimes it can be extremely lonely.

 

2/22/03- Alright, I'm going to at least update my website once a month now.  These laspes are getting out of hand!  Anyhow, I've added a section on my new mode of transportation- my bicycle.  Yeah, not the coolest set of wheels for a man of leisure, like myself.  But one must stay in shape.  And I also like to think of myself as the environmentally friendly bachelor.

 

Oh, I also added a few games to entertain you.  Have fun!

 

12/25/02- Good Lord & Gravy, it's been awhile since I updated my site!  A lot has happened, that is for sure.  Apparently, my internet bacholer pad has had a rather unique effect on the ladies-  one in particular.  ;-)  So on this wonderful Christmas, I add a new page to my site.  One dedicated to a certain fine looking foxy momma.  Merry Xmas to me!

 

8/6/02- Added in some "apropriate" music and another picture of Andrew firing off his LAW in the Airsoft section of my website. More pictures to come! Non Nobis!

 

8/3/02- Just moved some stuff around and updated the HTML on the hot or not counter. Also made the collage of yours truly bigger so to make it easier for everyone to admire my rugged good looks.

3/5/02-  A few little tweaks:  automated site update tag, some minor re-workings, and a MP3 finder in the "Hip Stuff" section of my website. 

 

3/4/02-  Someone has hacked the Bravenet.com site.  Because of this, my chatroom, guestbook, counter and ever-popular motorcycle poll have ceased functioning.  Bravenet said that after they've addressed the problem they'll re-establish all their stuff.  So sorry if you can't vote for me to buy a scooter.  [B^)

 

I've also added some "Back to Top" buttons because some of my pages have gotten pretty long.

 

3/1/02-  Added some swanky music, my patented spinning martini glass, and a fun little Robotech game.  Have fun!

 

2/28/02-  My detective work paid off:  It was Todd!  No suprise there.  In any event, I fixed the way you all vote, so no more spamming me.  I also added in an art gallery showcasing my friends' photographic skills.  Because, frankly, I couldn't take a picture to save my life!

 

2/26/02-  So get this:  right after I update my website, someone goes and votes 10 times for the scooter!  So far I know this person uses roadrunner from their IP address.  And from the time that they did their little spamming, (6am), that narrows the list.  I'll find you, ya little troublemaker!

 

2/25/02-  OK, who's the wiseguy who keeps voting for me to buy a "Go-Ped"?!  Well, to try and show you the sins of your ways, I've thrown up some pictures and brief descriptions of some of the bikes I'm looking into.  I've also moved some stuff around.

 

2/18/02- Added some fun stuff to the "Hip Things For You" section. Keen!

2/13/02- My site is getting traffic! And it's not even from me!!! Also fixed a couple of bugs that Pete found. Thanks. Still gathering cool stuff to add to my site, like the nifty transforming veritech picture!

2/12/02- A little more tweaking. I'm also preparing to add some cool games and programs to download. Man, this webpage building stuff is tough!
